Exemption Procedures
1. The provisions of the Financial Sector Charter shall apply to all financial institutions unless:
- Otherwise stated in the Charter; or
- Application is made to the Charter Council in terms of this section.
2. All determinations made by the Charter Council shall be based on the principles of fairness, with the proviso that sound economic reasons must exist for exemption to be granted.
