The purpose of the Revised Policies report is to begin the process of developing what will ultimately become a policy manual governing and providing direction for the activities of the Council.

The report contains drafts for consideration by the Co-ordinating Committee of the initial policies essential for the establishment and operationalisation of the Council secretariat, as well as a work plan for the closing months of the 2005 financial year and the first quarter of the 2006 financial year. As can be seen from the work plan, a considerable amount of policy development remains to be done.
