Request for Proposal: Needs Analysis
The Council wishes to commission a needs analysis which considers the financial services and product needs of the FS Charter Target Market, interrogates the appropriateness of the products on offer, investigates the demand and supply issues that lead to exclusion (both voluntary and involuntary), and offers conclusions and recommendations on how access to financial services can be enhanced within the framework of the FS Charter. - 1 October 2007

Request for Proposal
The Financial Sector Charter Council is an independent body with a mandate to oversee the implementation of the Financial Sector Charter. One of the Council’s responsibilities is to receive, consider and approve annual performance reports from each financial institution. To enable the financial institutions to complete their annual reports the Council is required to issue guidance notes on the interpretation and application of the Charter. Subsequent to receiving the reports the Council is required to prepare an annual review which outlines progress and evaluates new areas of intervention, submit the annual review to the BEE Advisory Council for publication, as well as prepare interim reports at appropriate intervals. In order to perform this function optimally, the Council must set out a process to be followed and provide the format in which financial institutions must submit their annual reports. - 20 August 2006
